Well yes, you garner my admiration
When you request "For here" and receive
A ceramic mug.
Even so, I no longer judge
Your character based on
A paper cup.
Sure, it's just your culture and you can't be expected
To belong to the one percent who appreciate
The finer things of life.
It's only Starbucks anyway
And you didn't ask for
A French press.
You could, you know.
But you don't need another option;
You want the familiar,
The unthinking to
Break you out
Of your mundane Monday.
